According to Forbes, approximately 35% of high-earning executives use virtual assistant services. And if you’re considering hiring a virtual assistant for your business, you should consider checking out specialized VA services!

But first, let’s take a closer look at what VAs are, and what they can do for you.

What are virtual assistants? What do they do?

Virtual assistants are remote professionals who operate on a contract basis. They mainly provide executive and administrative help, which helps eliminate overhead costs and increase productivity. Virtual assistants are also highly skilled in the services they offer. So, they may also offer assistance in niche-specific jobs to help you gain an edge over your competitors.

If it's your business’s first time hiring a VA, reaching out to networking platforms like LinkedIn might seem the only viable option. But that’s rarely the case. Such platforms offer no assistance in hiring or training the VA, and can be an unreliable source in terms of the quality of VAs offered.

This is where specialized VA services such as InboxDone and Leverage come in.

Why turn to specialized VA services?

There are multiple advantages of going for a VA platform that matches you with a specialized VA for your needs:

  • Since these companies set you up with an assistant with the exact skills required for your needs, the room for trial and error is small.
  • When the VA is tailored to your requirements, you can resolve problems quickly and handle tasks more efficiently.
  • Again, since these VAs know the intricacies of the duties they will have to handle in your organization, they tend to be highly dependable

What is InboxDone?

InboxDone is an executive virtual assistant company, founded in 2017,  that offers email management services to businesses.

With a pool of 80 team members, the platform claims to have the top 1% of email experts who are hired through a rigid, 10-step testing process. As a company, you have the flexibility to hire full-time or part-time VAs as per your needs. The platform will provide you with two specialists to execute your email management tasks.

All these plans provide two virtual assistants and access to all of the platform’s services. Also, all new businesses must start with the Standard plan. They can upgrade/downgrade depending on their needs beginning in the second month.

You should note that these plans are quite steeply priced, especially when compared with services like Leverage, that charge a fixed rate of $2600 for unlimited hours per month!

Where are InboxDone VAs from?

InboxDone hires all its VAs from the North American regions of the USA and Canada. It claims all of them are native English speakers, trained, and skilled, particularly in written communication.

How credible is the company?

InboxDone doesn’t seem to be so strong in terms of credibility. It has no ratings or reviews on Trustpilot.

However, the company boasts a reputable clientele, with names like Backstage Capital, Summit Energy, and Infostack on the list.

What are some pros and cons of InboxDone?

Upon analyzing the InboxDone platform thoroughly, here are some pros and cons we could identify:

Pros:

  1. US-based Talent: InboxDone recruits only US and Canada-based professionals with native English proficiency. So, their service quality tends to be higher.
  2. Tailored Matching: InboxDone’s USP is its “handover” process that involves cloning the assistants exactly as per a business’s needs. So, you get hyper-personalized VAs.
  3. Complimentary VA: InboxDone provides you with two VAs. This eases staff turnover.
  4. Safety: All of InboxDone professionals are security and privacy trained. So, your personal data is secure.
  5. Flexibility: You can hire a full-time or a part-time VA based on your needs. So there is better flexibility.

Cons:

  1. Limited Services: InboxDone offers a very limited range of services as compared to other VA platforms.
  2. Expensive Pricing: InboxDone’s pricing is very expensive, given its professionals mainly only execute email management duties.
  3. Low Credibility: InboxDone has no ratings and reviews on online review platforms like Trustpilot. So, its credibility is questionable.

Our review—what do we think of InboxDone?

InboxDone is ideal for you if you seek dedicated assistance in email management, particularly in writing emails. The platform’s experts—being native English speakers and skilled in written communication—can efficiently help you in this field.

However, InboxDone’s pricing is expensive, and its credibility cannot be gauged. So, if your outsourcing requirements don’t require proficiency in writing emails and are limited to basic email management duties like inbox management and spam checking, we suggest you consider alternatives with better pricing and credibility.
